Benjamin is doing great. He is halfway through 1st Grade now, and loved his recent trip to Mount Pleasant, Sugar Land, and Galveston. It was our Texas farewell trip. We spent a couple great days and nights at the Edgar's new beach house, which is 4 stories, 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms. They had 4 cousins there, including an 8 year old girl cousin from New York City named Sophia that Benjamin "loves."

He is studiously working on school in Mrs. Jenkins class. His spelling words and homework are stressful, 1st Grade is a real turning point and challenge for kids, but he almost always gets every word right. This week's words include "needed, friend" and 10 others I can't remember.

He has seemed to finally have ovecome a Star Wars addiction and moved on to Lord of The Rings. He is a whopping 4'3", the tallest in his class, even if he is the youngest.
