Our final stop on the way in Monday morning was the LA Temple (where I hear there was after hours vandelism on murals in the last year or so, a big part of why they want to scan everyone out as they leave the temple). It will always hold a special place with me, I was a veil worker there on Saturday mornings in my brief stint down there.
There was a massive and glamrous Christmas party on Christmas Eve, chrashed by the big guy himself.
