Once upon a time in a land called American Fork... Tim and Brittany were babysitting for some friends. Brittany took Julia the 2 year old with her to Costco and Wal Mart and TMobile in American Fork, some 8 miles down the mountain. Then, of a sudden, she locked the keys in the trunk.
She called Tim, who was home with the 3 boys and a good Michigan-Penn State football game, and he had a key, but no car. He walked north and south and east and west but none of the friendly neighbors were home. He was therefore in a husband's worst nightmare: pay a tow guy $45 to do it, or make Britt wait for her friends to get back in 2 hours.
When 7+ years of marriage made him hesitate to give the easy answer to the question, he stalled. Then, finally, he relented and called a tow guy. Upon arrival, they announced that they don't do trunks (?) and a locksmith would be necessary, and that, as they say, costs a pretty penny and doesn't buy you much.
Andrea was called, and was willing, to her everlasting brownie points! But, thankfully, the parents date reached a conclusion, and Andrea was not put through it after all.
Tonight, 20 partying Westminster graduate students converge on our house, which is all clean and Fall decorated... for now.
