I think that McCain winning South Carolina tomorrow would be huge. If Huckabee were to come back and win SC, Romney should celebrate.

Florida is looking like a 3 way race. If McCain wins SC and Florida, he wins. Period.

Mitt has shown the ability to sell himself to the national conservative base (at least the key one, the money one) and yet win a campaign on government aid and compassion for the Detroit auto industry, wow. John Travolta's Clinton spoke straighter to that crowd in Primary Colors.

So maybe he'll succeed at going to Florida and winning a campaign of increased funding for government-sponsored non-market social security. That isn't what he believes, but when has that stopped him? Joseph didn't believe in 1 man 1 woman either, but this is the PR age. Somehow I doubt he'll go down there and try to straight-talk the medicare disaster looming on the horizon, and the need to privatize social security.
